"Insert File" issues - 18-09-2006, 05:29 AM

Hi,

I have several files uploaded successfully but am having problems. The current file is a 35MB exe file - i was concerned the problem was on the upload so am trying to Insert File right from the server using localhost or the fullpath - either way it fails the same. I have tried uploading a smaller file to ensure it wasn't a security setting or something else but those worked fine. I have checked my php.ini to verify that the max file upload size if 50MBs.

Any suggestions?
TIA

Indeed seems like a server settings issue. You might want to check the following:

- In PHP:
max_execution_time (set it to around 600)
post_max_size (set it to 60M)
upload_max_filesize (set it to 60M)

- In MySQL (my.cnf)
post_max_size (set it to 60M)

The settings I have mentioned are pure suggestions. You can set it according to your requirements. Hope this helps.

If you are on Windows server you will have my.ini in your Windows directory. Hope this helps.
