Insert staff does not add new staff member

When I insert my new staff member, he does not show up on the list of staff.

Is there a setting that specifies the number of staff you have in your company? Otherwise, I am at a loss as to why it does not let me "insert staff".

I am using 3.11.00 - have just noticed the new version 3.20.02 and will upgrade to it asap.

Open your MySQL config file - my.cnf and set:

sql-mode = ""

Once that is done, restart your MySQL server and it should fix the issue.
