Should you be able to only get instalerts for tickets that you have ownership of instead of for a whole department?

What is the purpose of this?
If you want this as a feature why not just submit a feature request?

I asked if this was already possible in the Instalert forum and was told by a Kayako rep that they would consider it if there was enough public interest. It seems the best way to determine interest is through a poll.
