JavaScript calendar problems - 26-11-2007, 12:20 PM

Hello!

This problem occurred for some time back ago, but I never had time to investigate it any further, until now..

I get this error whenever I try to open the calednar (i.e. from teamwork - insert event / insert task). This is really annoying, especially since I want to start using this feature/function. In short, the calendar never open, only getting this javascript error.

Some months back ago I upgraded Kayako eSupport from version 3.00.13 to 3.11.01, but I am not really sure if this was functional before the upgrade.

Any suggestions guys?

And btw, I am using the full url, so it shouldn't be a ajax problem either.

See attachment below.

Use the Firefox Java console which gives a better error report and file a support request with Kayako Support from the Members Area, they should be able to assist you better.

This is the error message Firefox gives:

Error: Calendar._TT has no properties
Source: http://url-goes-here/themes/admin_default/calendar.js
Line: 32

That line contains this information:
this.dateFormat = Calendar._TT["DEF_DATE_FORMAT"];

This error is due to missing variable/values. I think you are not using default language "en-us". Make sure that your themes\admin_default\lang\calendar-'your language code'.js file is up to date. If not then try to rename calendar-en-us.js to calendar-'your language code'.js this will fix above error.

Best Regards,

Yes, that's correct. The language files has been modified from default UTF-8 encoding to ISO-8859-1, and language from default en-us to nb_no.

Nice, seem to work well!

I did what you told,
just renamed calendar-en-us.js to calendar-<my iso code> under themes\admin_default\lang\.

In my case, I renamed calendar-en-us.js to calendar-nb_no.js

Thank you guys!

Hopefully this forumthread can be to help for others with same problems.
