Javascript Errors in .90 - 02-08-2006, 03:18 PM

When using the tickets 'views' and 'labels' drop-down functions (when in the staff interface ticketlist), we receive js errors, i.e. 'tviewmenuloaded is undefined' and 'tlabelmenuloaded is undefined'.

Can anyone else confirm they get this, or indicate the causes?

NOTE: we have tried IE6, IE7 (beta2&3) and Firefox 1.5.x. We've also tried clearly the cache (client & server) with no luck.

Anyone?

Mark

Same error here - I posted yesterday in General.

Seems like Kayako don't want to know...

Is the JS issue in CVS or Stable build? Can you please email me admin + FTP access to your helpdesk with exact steps to replicate the issue?

Thanks.

I am getting the same thing, Javascript errors on the admin page. I looked more deeply and my web browser complains that the javascript error is located on line: 20
Which is:
function loadAllData() { preloadMenuImages(); var irsField = browserObject("staffirs");

Looking further I noticed that my browser was directed to load:
<script type="text/javascript" src="/support/cache/admincpmenuclick.js">

However, when looking on my server I noticed that the cache folder is empty (except for the blank index.html file).

If anyone reads this, please take the time to look in your cache folder and let me know if you have any javascript files in there.

Yes, "cache" folder is used to maintain temporary files and javascript files. Please make sure the attributes of your "cache" folder are set to 777.

Thanks.
