I must say that I am completely and totally impressed with the "Rules" option for the Mail Parser. Because my paypal email address is sales@slip7.net, which is also a ticketing department, I used to get tons of open tickets saying payment recieved coming from the customer's email address, thus sending them a ticket opened email, with them having no idea what was going on - It caused a lot of confusion. Now, I just set up a rule to search the body of the email for the phrase "A new payment in the amount of * was recieved from * on *", and if it exists, don't open a ticket, and forward it to omega@slip7.net (my personal email address). It works amazingly well. |
