Kayako Dont work on IE8 - 06-03-2008, 09:25 AM

Hi

just thought i would mention that Kayako CSS is all messed up in MS IE8 Beta.

test yourself, download IE8 at

most things dont work in IE8, time to go back to ie7 after just 15 mins of use.

I do not think that Kayako yet supports IE8 and I think no support will be added till IE8 stable is released.

Well they should really get it sorted now while its in beta as I imagine it will get pushed by MS for install after stable is out.

Absolutely; IE8 has a long way to go - the problems shown above may not even be down to SupportSuite HTML issues.

goto /staff/ manage. you will see what i mean on the menus.

I think IE8 has a while until its workable.

it passes but fails in other areas :P their loading of sites suck if you dont got it their way or its the high way. thats what their doing is trying too stomp out the competition

They are still there, but it doesn't mean IE8 'Readiness Preview' Beta 1 is not bug-free.

Plus, many things are not standards compliant. Kayako included in this which causes it to break in IE8.
