Question Kayako Server - 07-02-2007, 04:56 PM

Bonjour;

Merci

Well, that depends on how much traffic you are expecting.

Thanks Eiden - 08-02-2007, 06:44 PM

I have to build an help desk solution for an IT Service Provider. They want to record and analyse how efficient is their CRM and handle stuff like Trouble Tickets, SLA ect. So I expect a lot of traffic.

We have around 1000 visitors each day, and 12 000 tickets each year. We run on a dual xeon 2.4 ghz 2 gb ram.

I'm not sure what the minimun specfication for the server has to be, but it's better to more "power" that you need

thanks, for your reply... I will try to discuss that with my tutors. They will buy SupportSuite, SyncWork and InstaAlert Pro to build their CRM solution.
I will also want to know how those component work and if it's possible to extend their functionallities ? As a student, how to explore that domain?

When you buy the product, you get access to the source (php, mysql), so in that sense the product is open to extensions, on the other hand, all extensions have to be re-tested each time there is a new release (and once you've established a CRM the last thing you want is that it doesn't work).
