Kayako Ticket Alerting Constantly - 12-03-2008, 09:07 PM

Hi all,

We currently have a number of alerts setup for our tickets to notify staff of changes to a ticket for example; status, priority, assignment, reply etc.. When a staff member replies to a ticket, changes the status and priority all at the same time, Kayako sends out three separate alerts (one for each)

Is there a way that alerts can be incorporated into one email alert, if performed in the same period? We are getting spammed with four or five alerts just for one ticket!

Ideally it would be similar to Trac, which will only alert once, despite how many changes were made to the ticket in that instance.

Any suggestions on an Alerting scenario that is not so annoying?

Sorry, this isn't possible with the current design, but there's nothing to say that you can't modify the source code yourself to provide custom alerts. That is, if you have an owned license.
