Kayko Support Suite and Exchange - 06-06-2007, 09:40 PM

We are moving to Exchange with POP/IMAP disabled and I'm concerned about not being able to create tickets automatically using a helpdesk@domain.com sort of address. Has anyone been able to to integrate Kayako into an Exchange environment with POP/IMAP disabled?

I am not sure this would work, you will need either IMAP or POP3 to successfully set the email parser.

All of our mails goes through exchange.

Supportsuite runs on a linux-server with a local mailserver installed. When exchange recives a mail, it forwards the mail to the server running Supportsuite. The local mailserver then pipes the mail into Supportsuite.

do you want to use kayako with mapi?
exchange is able to use imap, pop3 connectors. we have this too

Yes, I need to use MAPI to retrieve email to create my tickets. IMAP and POP will no longer be available to me. Is this possible?
