Knowledgebase base can be seen by anyone on internet - 03-05-2007, 11:40 PM

I have done something wrong, but cant work out how to fix it.

If we allow access to supportsuite from the internet, anyone can view our Knowledgebase without having to login first. How can I make it that they have to be authenticated before they can access the knowledgebase (or anything for that matter) ?

Mark.

Hi Mark,

Do you have your support site set to require login first?

Features I need asap:
1) Ticket search in the client portal!
2) Column display in client portal showing clients email address or name
3) Downloads by client
(i.e. - each client has their own download area and can't see/touch downloads for any other client.) This would be on top of a "public" download area.
4) Integrated KB image uploads
The ability for staff to upload images with a KB articles.
Cheers!

You have to adjust your user group. You can change it such that guests cannot see the KB widget when they visit your support centre. Login to the staff cp, go to users and adjust the user groups there.
