It seems that the patch system is not avalable in windows.
Well ok .. i guess i will wait for the official relese then.

My Bug Report has just been accepted by Neil and upgraded to Critical, so it should be in a release soon (hopefully!).

They closed the bug and marked it as fixed last week. IIRC, it's in the .45 build.

Not fixed....I am in need of this fix, too!

My clients are confused in the download section. Of course, my clients are very easily confused with just about anything but that is besides the point.

Can we please get this old issue corrected.

I was still having trouble with this in version 3.04.10. The following change worked for me, in your functions_knowledgebase.php file, change the line:

$_total = $_articlecount;

To read:

$_total += $_articlecount;

Worked for me, but use at your own risk

No, this is a core issue to be fixed. They won't address it right now.

I'd hardly call it a 'core' issue. I've shown previously that there's only around 5-10 lines need to be changed for each section so that it will correctly monitor and count the number of articles/downloads, etc. on the system.
