knowledgebase segregation - 17-07-2006, 02:50 AM

can the knowledge bases be segregated by groups say group one only sees what is relevent to group one without even knowing there is a group 2 group 3 etc?

Yep - There's no shortage of ways to achieve that.

We were able to achieve this with version 3.00.13 so I would expect it to still be possible with any later version.

Groups are a very powerful feature in supportsuite.

Well i have found how to segregate the staff by groups but how would one go about doing so by users say user1 shows up to the support index page and is not logged in they should see nothing no knowledge base articles or no troubleshooter links untill they login once they login they only can see what group they are assigned to say user1 gets assigned to group1 so on and so forth

Any info on this would be helpfull
Thanks
Brandon
