Kayako's loginshare is designed to accept users from a single system and not both i.e. Kayako as well as the shared system. Personally I feel this is a drawback in more than one ways. I had discussed this with Varun some time back and he assured me to look into other possibilities to add this feature. OK folks - I solved my problem (although I'm not happy with the outcome). Since I found another thread that said I couldn't add a new user if they weren't in the LDAP directory, it pretty much sealed the fate of which way I needed to go. I wanted to support both internal & external customers but without the ability to add new users (or external customers), I had to disable the LDAP integration. After I backed out the LDAP integration, my "register widget" showed back up and I'm functioning like I wanted (registering new users). Now if only I could solve my email problem....
