Learning from Public SupportSuite Installations - 29-08-2007, 09:35 AM

All,

Unless Kayako minds, I would ask those forum members who have public SupportSuite installations to post in this thread the URL address where they have put their SupportSuite. (Public in this context stands for “a substantial part of the Kayako system is visible without logging in”).

What I seek with this request is knowledge sharing. I would like to see what others have done with SupportSuite - what modifications they have made, how they are using the Troubleshooter and Knowledgebase widgets - and learn from their experience.

I have a customized Kayako system that I cannot show you because of the security policy at the company. Everything is hidden behind a login.

However, I am willing to discuss - with those who share an URL address - the modifications I have made, the underlying business needs, specific business and software problems I have encountered, and the solutions chosen.

Guys, I had googled for "Powered by SupportSuite" and found the search string returns mostly generic systems. I am interested in customized systems and believe that no original branding would have survived there.

Googling for the above string returns the addresses of the login screens for the Staff and Admin CPs (unless the copyright line and marketing taglines have been weeded out, of course).

Reviewing hundreds of search results, then browsing the respective user sites - Support Centers - to determine if they are generic or not is a tedious process.

This is why I posted a request in the forums

Had tried “kayako supportsuite", this string returns 250,000 hits; plenty of generics and some marketing/piblicity stuff.

The “powered by supportsuite” search string returns about 500 hits. This is the smartest search string I’ve come up with so far.
