That is definately an illegal copy. Probably someone from Kayako can look into this.

When you have worked this long with Kayako you can

For starters the software does not have a license key. Run key.php URL in the browser you would know.

Hey,

It looks like the version (3.00.32) that was over the web free for downloads. I think Zend had a security hole where you were able to de-crypt the encoded pages.

How is it the version number means it's pirated? Seriously, without knowing an inside "trick" as supportskins might, how could you possibly know from looking at the version or site?

The version number in use doesn't *mean* it is pirated, but it lends to the high probability of piracy, that only one or two versions have been pirated.
