Live support Icon on HTTPS - 06-04-2006, 05:52 PM

Is there any way to place the livesupport icon on a HTTPS protected page?
I tried with the text link, html button ...everything....but keeps getting the annyoing "there are both secure and unsecure itames" where the unsecure is the scripting associated with kayako.

Can anyone please help whit this?
thanks

Certainly would be interested in this aswell...

However, i have a sneaky feeling that the only way you would get round this is by installing kayako under the ssl directory too. If you reference to anything outside of it you wil break your SSL connection.

I think the best way to get round this is to have a link (which isnt active aka. changing status if someone is online) at the bottom of the page which will take you to a none secure area where you can get help.

Hi,

You do need to have it installed under SSL for this to work, there is a feature request open to allow for both.
