3.20.02 Stable Ryan Lederman, not a single Loginshare issue addressed???? - 18-03-2008, 04:07 AM

Why has 3.20.02 been relased by Ryan Lederman without a bugfix for Loginshare? Why do people waste their time with this software? THIS ISSUE IS COMING ON 3 MONTHS without a complete fix. You know what the problem is yet you refuse to fix it.

You people should be ashmed of your faces. There is nothing else to say!

Hmm, yes, Varun did confirm it would be fixed before the next stable was released. Wonder what happened...

The fixes have been provided here, and will be bundled with the main product shortly.

Is there a loginshare module for WHMCS?

All I want is new & existing clients to login to our Kayako Helpdesk using their WHMCS login details. I don't want any Kayako integration on our WHMCS install.

Was this fix included with 3.20.02 STABLE?

Seems like this thread is dying out so let me make something very clear.

None of the issues that were origionally posted about been addressed 100% and lets see its now half way though April.

Care to tell us what the big holdup is? Please dont repeat the baloney already posted. I want to hear what they intend to do about it. Stop taking our money and start supporting us.

If this issue is not resolved, ill be filing complaints starting with the BBB. Dont believe me, just continue to pacify us with the bull**** being posted and you will soon see. UNBELIEVE company this is.

I am configuring my SupportSuite (3.20.02 STABLE). I want to achieve a single login to my Joomla site and the support suite. From what I can understand this is not possible, or is it? I have been reading these forums for a couple of hours now and I am starting to feel nauseas… I have come as far as a user can use their Joomla password to also login to Kayako. But I want it to be more transparent… I have read about a mod from Softair but if it works like I want nor how I acquire it I don’t know.

There is no integration that I am aware of (apart from the one you mentioned, but I do not know if it is supported or not) that lets your users use their SupportSuite details to log into a Joomla installation, only the other way around.

The related code from the WHMCS LoginShare file, to replace the fix Varun posted above:

Awaiting your feedback.

Quick question... I uploaded this whmcs.login...php file, but I don't see a way to configure it inside kayako.. How does it know what database/tables to get the login info from?

Also, does this let users login to kayako using their WHMCS information or do they still need to login to WHMCS to access the tickets?

If it is only when logged into WHMCS, what template to I change to remove the silly box asking them to login when... they're already logged into WHMCS?

The WHMCS login file isn't actually a LoginShare. It is a communicator for the full integration. A LoginShare for WHMCS is planned for the next minor release.

I would also love to see a fix for AWBS. The problem is there since I own Kayako, almost 2 years. In my case the problem is even worst. I have a public and private groups. AWBS only creates the accounts for private. And when someone public send a sales email he gets automatically registered in Kayako with that group. The problem is once he has an account he is not able to log into kayako since AWBS cant assign it the group. Im also sick death of this. I have to manually log in and delete all users on the public group.

This is something that should be fixed. If a user is on a specific group, AWBS should have priority and it should forcely change to the one it says. I cannot even change it manually, i have to erase the whole account.

Im also sick about this. Most softwares are open integration and Kayako sucks to integration. It also only lets you select 1 login share for each template. That means you cannot assign a user from AWBS and from a forum like Vbulletin to the same template. It will not work. You can only share login with 1 apps. This sucks really.

Well, too bad for Kayako. We've spend our money on other things in the mean time. Just came to to happily see that in my absence it is still not fixed?!

Just happy to have not wasted my time then.
