Modify Chatter ID

Hi,

If a visitor is browsing through the web app (which require login), the chatter id currently shows their IP address. Is there a way to modify the chatter id to have the login name instead? (assign the login value to the tag generated? or something like that)

Not currently. It has been suggested for V4 tho.
