Question Multiple Auto-Close Rules - 18-01-2010, 09:07 AM

Hello,

We need to have different auto-close settings per department. Specifically, we want a different range of statuses to be auto-closed depending upon department.

Is there a way to achieve this?

I do not think this is possible however this would be of great help! I suggest this setting be added by default.

Hi Skins, thanks for the reply.

I do think this is an important feature, especially as some departments can be so differently operated to others. I would also draw attention to this post:
Autoclose settings for all Public Statuses

We are looking at using the due date to prevent early closure of tickets on one department, purely as a workaround. Would this work?

I don't see any reason why that would not work.

This post really needs moved to Feature Requests for consideration in V4, though.
