I do not think this is possible however this would be of great help! I suggest this setting be added by default.

Hi Skins, thanks for the reply. I do think this is an important feature, especially as some departments can be so differently operated to others. I would also draw attention to this post: Autoclose settings for all Public Statuses We are looking at using the due date to prevent early closure of tickets on one department, purely as a workaround.
