new install keeps creating the same ticket - 10-06-2008, 05:47 PM

I have installed SupportSuite with email piping. I have set up the mail parser and a que to use Piping. Everything worked fine on a couple of tickets. Then I tried sending emails into the support address from an offsite email. Weird things happening:
*The ticket keeps getting recreated once an hour or so. Same subject, same email.
*No reply email gets back to the offsite email with the Ticket ID.
*Nothing is showing up in the 'parser logs'.
*Tickets, however, ARE showing up in SupportSuite.

Up to 50 tickets now all created from one email. Any ideas on what I should be looking at?

I don't have any weird mail forwarding that should be doing a loop like this.

I just heard the following from my host...

"It looks like the PHP script that the mail is being filtered to is
generating errors, causing the delivery to be deferred. The qs880 server
is then retrying delivery as the script returned a deferral status, instead
of a bounce or accepted status. I'm seeing the following from it :


Jun 10 10:29:13 qs880 qmail: 1213108153.468175 delivery 366031: deferral:
/Parse_error:_syntax_error,_unexpected_T_ELSE_in_/usr/www/users/fuzzy

Once the script properly takes the message without error, or otherwise
returns a permanent failure, that should stop the redelivery attempts."

I tried deleting everything in the kayako cache folder and sending a new message inbound. No luck.
