news desk out of sync

I have a hosted eSupport running Version: 3.00.28

Each time I add a News article, the previous new item is sent to my clients who have subscribed to the News Desk.

As a result I have resorted to sending each news item twice, is this a known issue or does anyone have any ideas how to resolve it?

I also find that the RSS feed sporadically feeds into my browser - completely out of sync, and unless I delete the feed, it keeps showingdespite me setting an expiry date.

It all seems abit of a mess, any ideas please

Upgrade to the latest stable build and check if it fixes the issue. v3.00.28 is over 9-10 months old.

I just upgraded to 3.04.10 (thanks for the tip) , I also cleared the cache.

I then added a News item, which got posted to the support desk ok. BUT my subscribers received 7 old news items (which had been deleted) dated 15 Jan 07 and not the one I just added....

Now as I write this the one I added has popped up in my RSS feed in my browser, and another old item has been delivered to my subscribers by emal (I've now sent them 8 old pieces of news).

I just added another news item to explain to subscribers what was going on, my subscribers received 3 more old news items, andstill the first one I sent today has not been delivered....

Have you edited any news templates? Did you restore the templates which needs to be reverted after you carried out the upgrade?

this has been resolved by support, it appears a second cache clear was required.
