No Assigned Queues Found for Mail Recipients - 25-07-2005, 12:04 AM

I am trying to get v3 going, but when fetching mail the parser returns the following error:

No Assigned Queues Found for Mail Recipients

Anyone knows why? As far as I know I have setup everything correctly...

Regards,

Nika.

From the admin CP, on the menu on the left side, select 'Mail Parser'. Click on 'Insert Email Queue'.

Yes, we have added a queue. But I figured it out...

First reason of why it goes wrong is because instead of using an email address (user@domain.com) I added the handle only (user).

The second reason is that the mailaddress in the queue is not the same as the from address. This is because the account contains several aliasses. For each alias we now need to add an Email Queue... Anyone knows how to add a wildcard?

Regards,

Nika.

No problem. That's what keeps the forums alive

What about adding a wildcard for an e-mail queue, so all mail-addresses sent TO in that mailbox will be picked up instead of only the mail-address which is used for the parser Email Queue Address?

Regards,

Nika.

Hi Nika,
Have a look at Admin CP > Mail Parser > Catch-All Rules

You are right, thanks! Just wondering, how do others use this? You retrieve all mails anyway, so mails not sent to the Email queue's mailaddress will be filtered out. Why would you want to do this?

I got this error because i hadn't put the full e-mail address in the Email Queue Address field. I didn't read it correctly and thought it was the name for the Queue

Can't create email queues...Left column missing - 05-03-2008, 09:18 PM

I have installed supportsuite a couple of times but cannot create email queues because the left column of the admin panel that is supposed to have insert queue is missing

Admin CP > mail parser > insert queue is missing..

Tried both the zend and ioncube versions I have re downloaded the code a fresh in vain.

Any idea what I could be missing here?

Was having the same problem, but thankfully that catch-all suggestion saved me

just to add to the thread, I also ran into this issue, and the catch-all rule solved it for me.

also - I found that in my Mail Parser rules, I had to set the "Destination Email Address" to be the field for my criteria. Using "Recipients" would not work even with the catch-all rule.

what is the difference between "Destination Email Address" and "Recipients" in the Mail Parser Rules?

thanks,
-Brian
