I have the same problem. In addition I receive an error stating 'menulinks' is undefined. Any help is appreciated, I've logged a call with support and will post it here if I receive an answer.

Unfortunatley no answer from kayako, neither here nor by the ticket system, fortunately i found the answer myself in the meantime.

Try this in php.ini:

Code:
allow_call_time_pass_reference = On
That worked for me.

Do you remember if you changed anything else in your php.ini file? I tried your suggestion and it still isn't working. Thanks in advance.

Maybe some "safe mode" issue. Is the cache directory and the files directory writable by the the webserver process and are there no safe mode restrictions in affect?

Have a look at the error log of your webserver. Are there any errors?

That was it. I had to make the cache directory read/write. Thanks Marc!.

Help! We just upgraded to 3.0.28 stable and now our top navigation is gone in the staff and admin log areas. I have checked our error logs for any permissions problems. None. I have restored all of our templates to the default on the admin login. No difference. What are we missing??
I have included a screenshot of this. Thanks.

I experienced the same problem last night when I upgraded, but in the morning it showed up.

the file permissions of cache and files folders are ok, and all the installation was done without any problem. All work instead the "navigation panel" of the admin cp.

eSupportSuite latest stable: 3.10.02 (I downloaded and install it today)

Try changing "Enable Javascript Cache for Theme Items" to "No" under -- Admin CP > Settings > General > Default Theme Options > Enable Javascript Cache for Theme Items > No

Check if that fixes the issue. Make sure you clear your browser and software cache after making the changes

I want add than I have tried this:

Quote:
make the following change in your php.ini:

magic_quotes_sybase = Off (This will resolve your javascript problem)

Then clear the contents of files and cache folder, (Again please make sure that the both the folders has 777 permission)

This will resolve your problem.
and worked perfectly!!!
Thanks to everybody.
