Not able to login - 05-09-2007, 12:27 PM

Hello,

I am having this odd out-of-the-blue error in my support system, all works fine, staff/admin but no one can login as a client.

They get the following error when pressing Login

Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Access denied for user 'nobody'@'localhost' (using password: NO) in /home/xxxxxxxx/public_html/support/includes/functions.php on line 423

So, if someone has a clue, it seems that all my problems started after my owned license expired. :-\

Regards

It sounds like a LoginShare issue. Can you go Admin CP -> Templates -> Manage Groups -> Settings next to the default group -> and tell me what "LoginShare" is set to.

What version are you running (it tells you when going /staff/ or /admin/)?

Have you modified the PHP files in any way?

This is a wierd issue, it seems like the issue is with your MySQL database. But if you are not using LoginShare then the issue is with the default software database. If that was the case you should have errors while accessing your Staff and Admin CP as well. I suggest you contact Kayako Support from the Members Area clicking the Get Support button. They should be able to look into the issue and post you a fix.
