Odd thing - 01-07-2008, 02:12 PM

Hi,

I don't know for sure if it is something I did or a bug in the software....
I set up alerts to notify when the ticket is assigned to someone and to notify on the ticket status change.
I assigned a ticket to Person A, he got the notification.
I then changed the status of the ticket from open to hold and later on to closed and not only did Person A receive the notification, it was everyone who has a Staff account.
Is there a way to prevent this from happening, to just have the person to whom the ticket was assigned, receive the notification. Did i do something wrong?

Have you set a public alert in the software to send out notification when the ticket status changes?
