only first auto-responder? - 15-08-2007, 06:50 AM

I did a test and submitted 5 tickets each to a different department "sent" from the same e-mail address.

Each department is set up to send out an auto-responder howerver the ticket makes its way into kayako(3.11.01) but only the first ticket emailed gets an auto-response. All the 4 other tickets, though they make it into kayako, they never get an auto-response.

Any ideas? Is this normal?

Have you checked your spam box for the other 5 emails?

See Admin-Settings-Tickets:
Enable/Disable Flood Protection
Toggle the Status for Flood Protection. It is recommended that you never disable this option as it prevents mail loops that can happen if your client has an autoresponder message set.

Dont Send Autoresponder Message
If Enabled, No Autoresponder Message will be sent when the Flood Protection is triggered.

If you are testing this from the same e-mail address then you are probably triggering the flood protection which is causing the system to not send you an autoresponder message. Logicway has posted the settings causing this above me.

Do you think 15 seconds for flood protection is sufficient?

I'd recommend leaving it at the default setting.
