Unhappy Opera losing sections of code - 14-08-2007, 10:32 PM

For the past few hours, I've been trying to figure out why my install of eSupport displays completely differently in Opera (9.22) than it does in Firefox (2.0.06) or IE6 (all on Windows XP).

For some reason unknown to me, Opera loses some sections of the HTML code.

For example, in Opera, the department selection page in the ticketing process doesn't show any available departments. Clicking the next button results in an error being displayed,
Quote:
ERROR: Please select a valid Department
When the HTML is viewed, the radio buttons are actually missing!

This problem also occurs in Mac versions of Safari and Firefox.

I've tried disabling all eSupport page compression, but it doesn't make a difference.

Is there something within either eSupport or Opera that would cause Opera to drop lines of HTML code?

Thanks

Try clearing out everything in Opera (Cookies, Cache, etc) and then make sure you have the latest version of Opera. Post back if you still have issues.

The problem I had was apparent across Opera (latest Windows version; 9.22), Safari and Firefox (both on the mac), Opera on Windows Mobile 5. Clearing out temporary files (cache and cookies) didn't make a difference as the problem was still there.

I resolved it by restoring the header and footer templates and then reapplying my customisations.

I guess all of the tweaks I made broke the templates some how. Strange how it only
affected specific browsers.

Anyway, Craig, thanks for your assistance.
