Hi,
Seems more like connectivity issues, Are you trying to connect to a remote server or a local one?

Regards,

Do you have POP3 enabled and the POP3 service started? I believe they are disabled by default when you first install Exchange.

i'm very well versed in exchange, and its operating fine. its something in the parser. it works fine in non-ssl mode, but ssl mode does not.

Ahh, I didn't notice that you were trying to use port 110 for SSL in your previous post. Haven't tried it using SSL over the non-ssl port to our Exchange server. Have you tried using the standard SSL pop3 port?

The default port for pop3 is 110 and the default port for pop3-ssl is 995. If the service is trying to connect to pop3 over ssl on port 110 you will need to change the ssl port in exchange.
