Parser.Lock - CVS does *not* have /uploads/locale??? - 09-07-2008, 12:57 PM

Guys, there has to be a better way with this.. it has taken us out of biz...

Trying to follow this thread:
The "parser.lockfile" is blocking POP3/IMAP fetching

Quote:
Take the following files from the latest CVS build and replace the ones on your server with them (make sure to take a backup in case it does not work):

/modules/parser/cron_parser.php
/locale/en-us/emailparser.php
But the LOCALE directory is not within the build?? am I missing something here? HELP! can't you guys just post the two files WITH the changes???

First, Kayako does not advice clients to upgrade to a CVS build. Contact Kayako Support for the files you require, they might be able to provide them to you. You can contact them from - https://members.kayako.net/

I appreciate the note, however, it is Jamie Edwards @ KAYAKO who is telling us to peel out these two files... there are LOTS of us that can't run with this issue...

See Here The "parser.lockfile" is blocking POP3/IMAP fetching

Anyone from Kayako here to help???

Hi tm2000,

You are correct to follow my steps regarding taking the two files from the CVS build. However, for some reason it seems folders are missing from the latest automatic build; please try again in 3 - 4 hours.

As per the thread (The "parser.lockfile" is blocking POP3/IMAP fetching), the instructions are fine in this case.

Thanks Jamie.. is there anyway you can just post here the two files that have been modified???

Or the two files from the CVS so we can hack em? This is causing us lots of issues... and need something ASAP.. It's weird, yesterday all we had to do was delete the file, but today, that does not work..

So we are SOL.. THANKS!!!

Please see: The "parser.lockfile" is blocking POP3/IMAP fetching for the files with the changes applied.

Hi once again,

Please revert to the originals; an additional change that I wasn't aware of has been made to the trunk. I will update you shortly.

Please replace the (now) three attached files: The "parser.lockfile" is blocking POP3/IMAP fetching

It seems that several other alterations have been made to those files since I wrote the patch instructions, in order to fix a different bug. (Incidentally, this is why we aren't adding any new non-security defects to 3.30.00, and why we're trying to push stuff from 3.30.00 to .01, so we can get a stable out there with this stuff fixed and end this problem.)

I will investigate the matter and attempt to provide updated instructions today. No promises, but I'm gonna try hard.
