Parser Memory Problems - 15-03-2006, 07:45 AM

Hi there

I have some memory problems with the parser. There is an 18 MB Email to fetch via IMAP, but I get the following error:

---cut---
tux:~# /usr/bin/lynx -dump "http://support.zycko.de/cron/index.php?_t=parser"

Total Messages in Inbox: 2
Fetching Msg Num: 1
Account is IMAP
Fetching Msg UID: 370
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 62914560 bytes exhausted (tried to
allocate 37096289 bytes) in
/var/www/supportsuite/modules/parser/cron_parser.php on line 128
tux:~#
---cut---

Following settings:

Email attachments in admincp: file (not Database)
PHP memory limit set to 60 MB (for testing but still problems)
PHP Upload max: 200 MB

I restarted the server already without success.

I tried to change the impalimitsize in config.shared.php, but I can't find the file.

System running on Linux,3.00.45

Thanks a lot in advance

Andre

Hi,

Check the message size limits set in: AdminCP > Setting > Mail Parser

Hi,

check the settings of your php.ini
there is an variable which controls the max_mem allowed for apache. i think there is the error.

greetings.

Hi

I can't find anything in my php.ini which refers to the max mem apache can use ... Do you know the syntax?

you'll have to update your php.ini file.... make sure to keep it resonable

64MB or something close, otherwise a nasty loop could cripple your server

I already set my max mem entry in php.ini to 60M, but still the same problem.

You mean in php.ini? It's set to 500M as we use an upload tool here as well, so i'm pretty sure that's not the problem :-)
