PHP Extensions - 31-01-2006, 04:59 PM

Hopefully someone can help me out here.
Lets start at the beginning.....
I have loaded currently PHP ver 4.4.1 and Zend Optimizer v2.6.2
Support suite version v3.00.32
MySQL version 5
Windows 2000 and iis 5.0
All seems to work but when i enable the php_imap.dll extension iis locks up. No pages load for the support suite. I used the php installer and have noticed it does not install the extensions. I have went into the php.ini and added the path for
c:\php\extensions\
I then went in c:\php and created a folder "extensions"
i then got the php_imap.dll and put it in the extensions folder to no avail.
first quest. how do i install extensions and where do i get them. I am totally new to php and need help. baby steps here.
thanks in advance

Did you add the PHP path to the windows environment variable path?

You've got to threads going on this same topic. See my reply (and follow the instructions) in the other thread. Don't create an extensions subfolder to put the extensions into...
