Unhappy Phrase changes not reflected on site - 11-07-2008, 11:40 AM

Hiya,

I'm currently in the process of integrating SupportSuite with the e-commerce website of the company for which I work. I'm trying to update the phrases to change 'Support Center' in the navhome variable to 'Customer Care Cent(re|er)' depending on which language it's in. I've created a copy of the default en-us language called en_GB, and set this to be the master and the default. I've changed the adminlanguage setting and the languageid of the templategroups to the correct settings, and I've changed the content of the array in en_GB.php and en-us.php.

Nowhere in the code or the database does the phrase 'Support Center' appear.

Except it's still coming up in the breadcrumb. >.<

Does Kayako cache phrase data somewhere, or have I missed something really obvious? I've cleared the template cache/ folder just in case that does it, but it's still not effected on site.

Help?

Thanks in advance,

Ben.

You need to rebuild the software cache. You can rebuild cache by deleting all files in the cache directory or using this link http : // your.server.com/staff/index.php?_ca=rebuildcache in the browser or if you are running Kayako ver 3.20.02 you can also rebuild the cache by login into the Admin CP, then on the left menu click on "Diagnostics"--->"Rebuild cache

Nope, it still says "Support Center" >.< I did delete the contents of the cache/ directory manually, which I guess is what the "Rebuild Cache" option does since it lists everything in there when you run it.

Yep. It's not hard-coded into the template, as they're all referencing the $_SWIFT['language']['navhome'] index. Support Center doesn't appear in either en-us.php or en_GB.php, nor is it in the database.

Hiya,

I'm still experiencing this problem with phrase changes not appearing on the site. I've cleared the cache folder, I've changed every reference in every file, I've changed all the phrases in the database, and I'm still seeing the old phrases appearing on the site.

Anyone got any ideas?

Ben.
