| Piping, LoginShare, Custom Fields -

Hi,
I bought the SupportSuite and had kayako install it. We have not used it as of this writing, but must asap.
We're using x-cart and want to create a ticket upon a customer placing an order. We'll use LoginShare. We'd also greatly benefit if we could grab and display in the ticket, select info from the customer, order, and other data from tables created by the x-cart user.
My understanding of email piping is the order summary will be piped into a new ticket and the data would be in the body of the ticket. If we had some custom fields with this info, we could create predefined email messages for the customer.
I have chatted with the online people at kayako and they said I must pipe and get a programmer. Does this mean we must fetch from the database?
I have searched extensively in the forum and not found anything addressing this issue.
It seems a simple matter to populate a custom field from another mysql table.
