Please reply to tickets Kayako!! - 23-02-2006, 06:38 PM

Kayako hopefully you monitor these forums cos you're not answering tickets.

Waiting on response for tickets BSV-834805 and EPL-736385 - both tickets from Decemeber.

While they have been updated several times in January no one seems to be replyiong to them anymore

I realize Kayako is in the process of building their offices but thats not my problem that is yours.

You know, they have a great product with no support which means the product is utterly useless.

I can never upgrade, God forbid an upgrade blows up my install - I cant wait 2 months for them to get me up an running.

I always have to laugh when they post expected build release info. For instance, on Jan 25th (the last official update) they say:

"v3.00.35 coming in couple of days". Well, it's now over a month. They must use a different calendar system in India that I'm not familiar with.

I've had tickets open since December. Still no resolution -- not even a response! I was promised when I purchased that the product (v. 3)would work on PHP5. Well, it doesn't! And we can't downgrade our server.

So I've been paying for a product and support since July. I haven't been able to use the product and have received zero support.

Does anyone know if this company has an office in the USA or how do I go about bringing legal action against an Indian company?

I have succesfully installed Kayako on both our production and our test machine, running PHP 5.0.3 and PHP 5.1.2. Due I had a problem (filled a bug about the lack of a usable error at http://bugs.kayako.net/?do=details&id=1240) at first, I have a fully functional installation now.

I still got a lot of bugs left (see my bug reports), but I suspect that these errors are in PHP 4 too.

I've installed on a box running PHP 5.05 recently, so yes, it can be done. There are still bugs, yes.
