It is functional and relatively straightforward, as well as very configurable. Thing is, I'm not actually sure what the community would consider reasonable defaults. As such, it's poll time. The way the loop cutter works is that if it sees more than X messages from a specific address in Y seconds, a temporary ban will be set for that address of Z seconds, and that user will be notified. There may be any number of such rules, though honestly I have a hard time imagining anyone wanting more than two. Right now, I'm trying to decide on some defaults values. My initial inclination is two rules: more than 15 mails in 10 minutes is a half hour tempban, and more than 45 mails in 60 minutes is a two hour tempban. (Those timeframes are intended to allow the other mailserver to chew through any backlog as might be necessary.) Do any of you actually do that much traffic in that short amount of time with a single person? Ever? What would you like to see in rules? Please feel free to add an alternate rule list in a comment, but only if it's actually significantly different than the ones already there. -------------------------------------------------------------------

Maybe people are boycotting it because you mis-spelled "should" in the poll title *winks* Icon Headquarters - Its Elixir - Web2Messenger |

Lol. Anyway, if I don't get some more votes soon, I'm just going to go with my instinctive defaults, since apparently nobody thinks they're wrong. -------------------------------------------------------------------

I personally don't use the mail parser so haven't voted but considering the number of people here, it is a bit annoying they are not speaking up about such an important matter. Icon Headquarters - Its Elixir - Web2Messenger |

Well, to be fair, it's a pretty esoteric question. A lot of people just wouldn't know what to answer. And also, my questions are +4 boring, vorpal. -------------------------------------------------------------------
