POP3 Error with LAST command

I am currently using a Kayako monthly hosted solution.

Despite hours and hours of work, we still haven't been able to get the pop3 email queues to work.

I have been able to confirm that the emails are definitely being delivered to the pop mail account. (via outlook).

Using yahoo to retrieve the messages, when setting yahoo to retrieve only 'new' messages, we get the following error my from pop server.

POP server does not support LAST command. You may only retrieve POP mail from this server using "get all messages"

Questions:

1) Does anyone know if the Kayako fetch command uses the LAST command?
2) How can I look at the error logs for email parsing and fetching from the monthly hosted solution?
3) Anyone else have any suggestions to get the POP email fetching to work?
