POP3 fetching time display

Hello,

I have a small concern. I am fetching emails from a POP3 account. The problem is that the time displayed in the ticket is the fetching time, not the actual time that the email arrived. Say the email arrived at 2AM. I fetched the mails at 6AM when I wake up, then the ticket time appeared as 6PM, which is a bit inconvenient when I try to log the time in which the mail is actually sent. Any workaround for this guys ?

I have to agree with this.... is there no way to have the Kayako POP even if we are not logged in?

Yes. You need to set it up to run the parser in cron if you are on a linux machine or a schedule task if you are on a Windows machine. Search the forum and you will find several discussions on the topic.

Set your server to fetch the emails every 10 minutes. That should do the job.
