POP3 SSL does not work with GMail - 20-04-2006, 01:22 AM

I am trying to set Mail Parser to retrieve messages from Gmail account.
It does not work.
Gmail setting require sol, so I set to use POP3 SSL.
I use pop.Gmail.com, port 995
It looks like everything is set correctly, yet it does not grab messages.

Other Pop accounts work fine.

/cron/index.php?_t=parser complains about incorrect server line.

Did you enable pop3 e-mail access from within the Gmail settings? By default it is disabled.

Yes, I have enabled POP on GMail account,
I tested it, and it works with regular Mail Programs like Outlook and Thunderbird.

Out Kayako work well with another POP3 server

But the combination of GMail POP and Kayako does not

Hi,

Can you run the cron task directly in your browser with the debug mode enabled:

/cron/index.php?debug=1

Check the files directory for files names crondbg_* and post the exact error message it is displaying.

You do not have SSL enabled IMAP installed with your PHP, Please do that and it will work fine.
