Possible to change column sizes in ticket views - 23-06-2006, 02:06 AM

Is there a way to change the size of columns in the ticket view in the screen shot I have added you can see that the subject has been squeezed in to a tiny block much smaller than status can the subject be given a larger size ? or maybe change to some thing like.

There is a problem with my PC it is Fuc..... e.g stopping after so many characters a bit like the owner field has been.

Has anyone figured this out yet?

The subject column in my ticket view is minuscule. I'd love to be able to widen it, even a little bit!

Regards,

Rich

Features I need asap:
1) Ticket search in the client portal!
2) Column display in client portal showing clients email address or name
3) Downloads by client
(i.e. - each client has their own download area and can't see/touch downloads for any other client.) This would be on top of a "public" download area.
4) Integrated KB image uploads
The ability for staff to upload images with a KB articles.
Cheers!

What are you running this on?

I do not have that problem at all and it seems to resize based on screen size...

you can also try customozing your view so that you remove some columns that aren't necessary. That will give more space for the subject column.

Thanks, good suggestions. I have a few views with lesser column numbers and that works pretty well. I'm running the app on win server 2003, using FF/IE to view.

I should have been more specific (sorry), looking for a way to ensure my "subject" column is always a certain width.

A minor thing I know, but just wondered if there was a simple way to do this.

Regards,

Rich

Yes this is quite annoying that you cannot widen the column like most windows apps.
