"Post Reply" feature not working properly

Hi all: (hope this is right part of forum to post)

I've been using eSupport for past month, without any noticeable problems.
However, just yesterday, when replying to a ticket using the "Post Reply" button, the system hangs for awhile (about a minute and a half), then the page times out. When I reload the page, I see that the reply went through. BUT, the person I'm replying to (the ticket originator) does NOT receive the reply in his email.

Any help is highly appreciated.

Can be a template related issue, have you edited any email templates?

No, I haven't edited any email templates. (The only thing I have been
doing is adding some "News" and "KnowledgeBase" articles).

That should not break the software. Are you using SMTP server for sending emails or you use php mail() function? Does your server error_log report any errors?

Thanks for the replies , supportskins. My hosting company, innerplanet.com, seems to have solved it (I don't know how exactly).

PS This hosting company seems to do a good job with kayako (they use it themselves for their support -- so I recommend them so far, as they seem to have very good service).
