Problem with fetching e-mails from POP3 - 10-03-2008, 03:34 PM

Welcome,

I have a problem with eSupport. Cron works as:

0/5 * * * * wget -O /dev/null http://e-pomoc.info/cron/index.php?_t=parser

but it doesn't fetch e-mails from an account.

When i am trying to run http://e-pomoc.info/cron/index.php?_t=parser in IE there is only blank page.

Best regards,
Mariusz Jokiel

Try getting it to run http://e-pomoc.info/cron/index.php instead. Also check Admin CP -> Scheduled Tasks -> Manage has POP / IMAP Parser enabled.

A link to your phpinfo will help. Make sure your PHP is compiled with IMAP support.

Your PHP settings seem fine. Check your server error_log for any reported error. If the issue persists, feel free to create a support ticket with Kayako from your Members Area profile at http://members.kayako.net/.

I thought it was only *supposed* to show a blank 1px by 1px square...

No, it shows 1px by 1px square.
A support tell me to change a parameters in php:

a) max_execution_time = 600
b) max_input_time = 600
c) memory_limit = 512M
d) upload_max_filesize = 20M

but it didn't help me.

I paid a license for a product which doesn't works and neither Kayako doesn't know why it doesn't works.

Maybe I should install some other version?

It is supposed to show the 1x1px square when you go to it directly. Have you tried running the cron on that and checking it is set to enabled like I mentioned above? Does it pull the mail then?

I don't understand. How do you suggest to run a cron?

I am using wget http://e-pomoc.info/cron/index.php.

Yes, there are no errors.

It couldn't be that somebody selling software which doesn't works. I read that other users had the same problem.
