Problem with LDAP AD LoginShare - 19-09-2007, 08:55 PM

Hi,

I'm having problems with the LoginShare LDAP AD integration.

1. LDAP enabled and working for PHP. Have three other PHP apps on the server using LDAP auth including Moodle.

2. I have tried every combination on the forums for the Base DN and RDN fields with no success.

Here is a close to reality domain info:

LDAP Active Directory Domain Controller: 100.25.36.121
AD Admin Use: admin
Password: p2ssw0rd

Domain: jrm.sistema.com
Users OU: users
Administrators OU: administradores

Any help will be appreciated.

Well, well, well. At last found the problems:

1- Besides the configuration in Templates » LoginShare, you need to activate the method of authentication in Templates » Manage Template Groups » default. to the right select Settings and click. Select MS AD LDAP in LoginShare.

2- For users to loging we tried using the AD User email and password to authenticate but got it working using instead the normal Username and password to login into the doamin.

It is working like a charm !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Was able to authenticate but now I'm having this strange problem.

The application is able to authenticate with the MS AD LDAP Server but it keeps the name of the first person who accessed the aplicacion. I tried the article in your Knowledge Base and cleared the data on SWUSERS and SWEMAILUSERS, but when someone logins in the application that name keeps appering as the user that is logged.

Example: Jay Lopez was the first to login. If Ana Smith logs into the application with her credentials it will let her in but the message "Logged In:" will show Jay Lopez instead of Ana Smith.
