Problems with AOL users - 25-08-2006, 01:29 PM

Recently, I noticed that AOL users cannot login... it takes them back to the homepage with out completing the login...

No errors or anything? any Ideas?

I still can not log into the bug system...

IMHO this is a aol specific problem. AOL changes the ip-adress in intervals of about some seconds.

AOL-Users may try this:
Open http://www.t-blanken.de/getIp.php in Browser, you'll see your public IP.
Now press F5 (reload page) after waiting some time and check if the ip changes.

I actually don't know about kayakos sessiondata-concept, if it's bound to the ip, this could be the problem.

I know it has to do with cookies and their security suite... I just am not sure how to get around it

I know there was a parameter, posted somewhere here by Varun, that could be used to disable the ip checking in the session data for the v3 LiveResponse a while back. I don't know if that same parameter applied to eSupport as well though. Have you tried that one yet?
