Problems with news mail

We have a problem with news mail. We created news some time ago and mail was sent out to the subscribers in Kayako. However, people are still getting some news items sent out by random. This despite we have:

* Removed the news in Kayako.
* Restarted our mail-server.
* Restarted our webserver where Kayako is hosted.

We are running version 3.04.10. I know that this problem is fixed in the latest build but we haven't updated yet.

Do anyone know which function that sends out these newsmails? Is there a cache that can be cleared somewhere?

That is a really old version. I suggest you upgrade to the latest and see if it works then.

Yes, it was a known issue and is fixed now. Download the latest build from the members area and use the file mentioned:

We just upgraded to version 3.11.01 this weekend. Then when we tried to send a new News-item the old news (that we have deleted) was sent out again. There must be some caching mode where the old news is located? Does anyone know?

Problem is solved. It was the first news post that send out a batch of mails. It seemed like it cleared out the old subscribers in the first news post after upgrade. Everything working ok noew.

This was a bug and has been fixed in 3.11.01.
