Angry Pull down menus error in built 3_00_28 and 32 - 13-12-2005, 08:03 AM

After upgrading from 3_00_13 to 3_00_28 (yes we have performed the template restore), none of the pull down menu works. We got error message in IE:

Line: 1441
Char: 22307
Error: '_h._G[...]' is null or not an object
Code: 0
URL: http://www.mydomain.com/staff/index...re&_a=dashboard

Any idea on how to solve this?

Update: 19 days after i posted this post, there is still no solution from Kayako.

Try reverting your templates and clearing your cache. Seemed to work for us.

I'm facing same problem on one of my customer's helpdesk. We recently upgraded it from 3.00.13 t0 3.00.28 & since then the problem of drop down menu is coming. For some reason the Pull down menus don't work, the files/cache directory is correctly set as 777 I even tried deleting the cache, upgrading to the release 3.00.29 but its still the same.

Any suggestions to fix this problem would be highly appreciated.

We are also having the same problem. We upgrade from version to to 3.00.24 and it all seemed to work for about a week, then we started getting the error:
Line: 1441
Char: 22307
Error: '_h._G[...]' is null or not an object

We upgraded to 3.00.28 today and it didn't help.

Let me know when you find any solution, my client's helpdesk has become completly useless due to this and she might switch over to another option if this problem is not sorted out soon.

This is shocking! I reported the bug, received no response. It's reported on this forum, no response from anyone Kayako! This is a bug that renders the application absolutely useless and not seeing one acknowledgement or estimate for a fix is shocking!

Hi NC, we are on Windows server as well. Perhaps the pull down menu doesn't work on Windows? They should have tested it on windows server if they claim to support it.

Mac OSX Too. . . - 02-01-2006, 12:25 AM

And here all this time I thought this was a Mac FireFox issue.

I only have this issue in FireFox 1.5 so I just switched to Safari or Camino and they seem to work fine in these two browsers.

Using Windows 2003 / IE6.Latest

Let me say again, My SupportSuite is UNUSABLE, I reported this bug and have not received one e-mail reply to my ticket OR one iota out of Kayako regarding the many threads about this issue on these forums. SAD!
