Purpose of the little flower? asterisk? icon - 16-05-2007, 11:16 PM

Hi,

I can't seem to locate the significance of the little flower? asterisk? icon at the begining of every subject in the manage tickets window.

(screenshot attached)

Anyone know what this is for?

Features I need asap:
1) Ticket search in the client portal!
2) Column display in client portal showing clients email address or name
3) Downloads by client
(i.e. - each client has their own download area and can't see/touch downloads for any other client.) This would be on top of a "public" download area.
4) Integrated KB image uploads
The ability for staff to upload images with a KB articles.

A lot of our users complain about the speed of SupportSuite. I would suggest Kayako to remove all redundant features and graphics that don't make common sense and just slow down the app.

This means it is for decoration purposes only.

caitlyntw, if you want to remove this bullet, simply remove the above code and title column code for this.

That is correct - it is a non-functional, cosmetic feature.

Not sure it was originally intended to be only decorative, though. There are two of them in the download, "notreplied" and "replied". Notreplied is the one shown. Maybe at some point this was meant to show if the client or the support person had last replied? Or maybe that only works when you have the "replied" column disabled in the view?

Kind of like a person's appendix...still there, maybe causing trouble, but not terribly useful.

To begin with, functionality for this icon was intended but never made it. But, the icon was kept in the list anyway.

The icon was "supposed to" change colours according to Ticket properties (binded with ticket status I guess). But the feature did not work as expected neither did the Varun notice it initially. On being notified, it was not rectified. It was decided to drop the feature for good.
