Question about News and Subscribers

I currently have 2 departments setup within Kayako, both departments access the client support website through different templates.

When I send out a news item, currently it will send to all subscribers within kayako.

My question is: Is there a way to send a news item to only members of a particular template? or possibly within the subscribers area, a way to tag users to a specific template group when sending the news.

Currently I can send out Generic news announcements such as "watch out for virus xyz that just came out", but I cannot send an announcement to a particular department stating that a server will be down for maintenance from abc to xyz.

Have I missed a setting or would this be a feature request?

This would be a great feature which I have asked for on previous occasions.

We also would love to be able to email certain groups in relation to server maintenance, etc


Could Kayako look at intergrating this as it would make the system so much more useful and also make the new emails look more professional by targetting news to the users who need to see it
