Queue Signature is missed in autoresponders for the tickets sent from web - 28-07-2006, 06:07 PM

There is a filed "Queue Signature"
(Mail Parser / Manage Email Queues / Edit)
This field is used as variable <{$queuesignature}> at the bottom of email_autoresponder template.
(Templates / Tickets / email_autoresponder)

The problem is that the contents of Queue Signature includes only to autoresponders on Ticklets sent by email. For the web created Tickets the Queue Signature is missed Is it a bug or there is a decision?

This is a known issue and is being worked on. It has already been filed at http://bugs.kayako.net/.

Its more of a feature issue because Queues are never involved in the web interface. We have to decide on how to handle Queue signatures if a department will have multiple email queues assigned to it and figure out other problems associated with linking Queues in the web interface.

It is still up for discussion and I will update this thread if we come up with anything concrete on how we can get this resolved.

A year on - any update? Or is this another one of the things that would be looked into but alas, never does and just forgotten about

Not having the queue signature in emails sent via the web form look rubbish and unprofessional.

I just checked the issue in the latest stable build and it does not work. I suppose they will add it in v4.
