recovering a backup?

so we updated to the most recent stable version of kayako and we requested the backup of our old version, and we got the confirmation email, but we forgot to save the file to our archives, is there a way to retrieve that backup? this is from a hosted solution.

You can re-request it from Kayako or if on v3, you can re-generate the back up from the Kayako Members Area.

In that case, yes the back up now generated would be the new one. The old back up gets deleted in 2 days time from Kayako's server. Once deleted, it cannot be recovered.
